Happy Halloween!

Photobucket

Wow, it's already Halloween! Time has been flying lately. I was very excited to wake up this morning to clouds- it made it very cozy and autumn-like. But, now that it is a little bit later, I see it is mainly blue skies, like always! I love Arizona, but seriously! Can we have just one day with clouds, and maybe even rain!

Last week at Carolyn's house, we had a nice pumpkin-carving party. Cameron, my nephew, was the star when he dressed up like a pumpkin and sat around all of our carved pumpkins! He was so cute, and had no clue as to what was going on.

And, a week ago today was the annual O'Connor High School Homecoming Parade, and I went along to take pictures of my mom and her staff walk in the parade. It's so fun- this started my senior year and I wish it would have started earlier in my high school years, but I'm still happy others get to enjoy it now! My mom and her staff dressed up as people from the 50's- here is my mom's costume:

My mom is so funny. She was dancing while taking this picture and she was making me laugh so hard. Ah, I love my mom :)

Well I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween! I can't wait to pass out candy to the little kids and see their oh-so-cute costumes!

Sweet, Sweet Song

I absolutely love this song. It's simple and so, so sweet. It's perfect for anyone expecting a child, or that has a young baby, but I also like it for the simple and relaxing feeling I get when listening to it. If I had the rights to this on, I'd have in on my website in the Maternity Gallery, but since I don't I thought I'd put it here for you all to listen to and just enjoy the simplicity and beauty of life :)

The song is "Capri" by Colbie Caillat.

I have Colbie Caillat's whole album (thank you, Paige!), and it's great. I love this type of music- especially when doing homework and relaxing from a hectic day :) I also love listening to Jack Johnson, Jon Foreman, The Format, The Fray, John Mayer, Dashboard Confessional, Coldplay and Death Cab for Cutie during this time as well :) I just love music in general. It can make days so much better.

Enjoy :)

It's been a good week :)

Hi everyone! So sorry for a delay in posts! I've been so busy with school, it's insane! Half-way through the semester: this is exciting, but also scary because all of my professors are kicking into high gear to get everything finished before the semester ends. Oh, lovely :)

But, I'm happy to say I have received new products that I recently ordered, so I will be posting pictures of those products here within the week! I have a coffee table book, a mounted print, and a story board. So fun! I  will also have a detailed price list of these items. Stay tuned for all of that!

The blog is still undergoing construction :/ we are working on getting my navigation bars to work- they will eventually be drop down menus. Right now, they are just blank, unless you click the 'About Me' or 'My Website' icon. Those will take you right where you need to go :) just in case you want quick access to my website, or want to know all about me!

And, a quick note: I love my printing lab :) today in my photography class, we made an 8x10 print. Sounds easy, right? Wrong! It took me quite a few test prints to get my coloring correct, and then the ink ran out. It was a nice twenty minute delay, and when all is said and done, took me 2 hours to make my high-quality 8x10 print. Kudos to my lab, and anyone who does printing at home! It takes lots of hard work, experience and patience. Maybe over time I'll learn how to make an 8x10 on my own in less than two hours. That would be fantastic!

Krislyn: Part Two

Photobucket
Part two of Krislyn's amazing pictures!
She should seriously be a model, she is 'el natural' in front of the camera! I loved it.

A little story for our photo shoot. We took these pictures in Old Town, and stayed in one alley the entire time! We found it right away, and I thought it looked cool and wanted to take some pictures there, but didn't expect to stay the whole hour and a half we were there. It was awesome! It had everything. Brick, windows, stairs, alleyways, a sweet seafoam green wall, and an awesome chair! I wanted to take the chair home with me. I was in love with it.

Baby Cameron

Photobucket

Yesterday I took Cameron's six-month pictures at a park in Peoria. It was a beautiful day! Unfortunately, Cameron was very tired and hungry, so he was a little grumpy and was not digging the camera. But, we had a nice 20 minutes before he had a camera melt-down, so we got these great shots! He is so cute, and I can't believe how grown up he looks :)

Today Krislyn and I had an awesome session at Old Town Scottsdale! Krislyn is a senior this year, and I knew she would ROCK this location! After browsing through the pictures, I narrowed my favorites down to 432...if you call that narrowing down! :)

I have two photo sessions tomorrow- a baby and a senior- so stayed tuned this weekend for some new pictures!

Have a great day :)

Proof :)

A little shot of my screen to prove we are still working on the blog :)
If you can see, it's filled with HTML coding, a Javascript website, and PHOTOSHOP!
Last night we had a little issue with HTML, so my header is now missing and colors are wack, but are trying!
Sorry for the wait :)
In the meantime, view my website for new pictures and music!
